CUSTOM POPULAR SILK FABRICS WITH US

ORDER PROCESSING FLOWS OF CUSTOM MULBERRY SILK FABRIC

SUPPLY THE SAND-WASHED SILK FABRIC

Most silk fabrics looks silky shiny, but not all clients like this kind of shiny. and sand-washed silk fabrics could be their favourite. seriously, sand washing process should belong to a kind of water washing process. It refers to washing the fabric with alkaline water, and the silk fabric is corroded by alkali, which erode the silk fiber more seriously, and make the surface of the fiber become uneven and rough.

The sand-washed silk fabric looks like a layer of white wool or gray on the surface, which makes the fabric feel old. It is precisely because of the severe erosion of alkali that the originally relatively hard fiber structure becomes soft, and the whole fabric becomes super soft and matte finish. sand-washed silk fabrics are generally preferred by US and Australia clients. because they like this old-fashioned feel. This style is very suitable for designs that require retro or nostalgic styles. Mostly wided used in silk pillowcase, silk dress, silk blouse, silk camisole, silk trousers etc.

SILK FABRICS - REACTIVE DYES PRINTING INTRODUCTION

Reactive dyes are known for their bright colors, good colour fastness properties and ease of application. It’s more environmentally friendly as all bonding chemicals are applied directly on fabrics during the pr-treatment process. Despite these good qualities, reactive dyes are more difficult to process.

The digital printing process on fabric using reactive dyes consists of five stages:

1. Printing

2. Fixation (steam fixation)

3. Washing

4. Drying

5. Softening (sanforising)

After printing, fabrics should go through hot steam fixation and extensive washing processes. This means more time, more equipment involved in the process, higher production costs and hence a higher price for fabrics.

An extensive after-print washing process for reactive dyes means that dyes are bound in the fabric fibre and not lying on the surface. In general, printing with reactive dyes is more complicated in terms of the textile finishing process.
